Well we are in the middle of wrapping gifts(yes we are last minute kind of girls😂) anyway we need something for dinner, but what in the world should we eat? Something quick something light and yummy😊

I came up with this and we loved it… plenty enough to fill you up without any sides… and it is portable and easy to eat😁

Ingredients

  1. 2 Sirloin steak or steak ums(philly cheesesteak frozen at grocery store)
  2. Velveeta cheese mini blocks
  3. 4 8 inch flour tortilla(my favorite is mission)
  4. Shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1 clove garlic minced(I used garlic powder)
  6. Salt and pepper to taste
  7. Onion flakes or powder(1 teaspoon)
  8. Spray butter
  9. Banana peppers(optional)
  10. Mayo(optional)
  11. Mustard(optional)

Directions

  1. Heat skillet up and place sirloin steaks in
  2. Cook steak through until no red/pink shows through
  3. Add salt, pepper, garlic and onion
  4. Simmer a couple of minutes
  5. Cut up the mini block of velveeta cheese and add to skillet
  6. If you have a lid to the skillet place lid on top turn stove to low and simmer 5 minutes
  7. Cheese will be melty and gooey
  8. Remove steak cheese mixture from skillet
  9. Assemble your quesadillas with .5 cup cheese half steak mixture and any topping you like
  10. Spray the top side of flour tortilla with butter
  11. Place buttered tortilla side down in skillet and cook until light brown, while in skillet spray top tortilla with butter(you are getting ready to flip)
  12. Turn quesadilla over and cook until brown
  13. Remove and repeat steps 9-12 on the second quesadilla
  14. Cut quesadilla and serve warm

Enjoy
