I often get asked… “What apps are good to edit photos?” “Should I pay for this app or use that app?”

I am going to share my photo editing apps with you

First of all I do not pay for any of my apps, I deal with the embedded ads and the watermarks, I cannot justify paying for an app when there are so many that are free!

My favorite apps

  • piccollage- I use this to put together quick collages, memes, and quotes
  • quickcollage- this is Perfect for collages
  • Fotoplay- to make slideshows with your photos and quotes you make using piccollage, quickcollage or canva
  • Photofy- add text to photos
  • Fontstyle- add text to photos
  • Text on photo- add text to photos
  • Canva- to crop photos, make collages, add text to photos, make IG and FB stories and posters, very good marketing tool
  • Afterlight- filters(although I dont use very often at all)
  • boomerang- makes fun little animated clips for FB or IG(attention getter)
  • I also have an app to remove background from photos so you can change the background this is perfect for product photos
  • Lightroom(I have a subscription to adobe photoshop)

Many bloggers, and social media influencers will tell you to buy apps, but really I haven’t found a paid for app that offers anything different than the free apps offer so I will continue to save my money with free apps

The main thing is to have fun creating images, and the ease of use for you, make sure it isn’t too hard to figure out because you don’t want to waste all of your time learning a new app. Most of the ones I listed above are very easy to use!!!
