Okay do I have your attention???😂🤪🤣

So I had been craving buffalo chicken for a while and with the superbowl approaching I decided I would try to make some so then I thought what if i made a bbq version and then i thought of all the things you can do with it😍

Our first dish is

Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken taquitos

Buffalo chicken after shreaded and mixed into the buffalo sauce(this one is a bit on the spicy side… so yummy, I just disnt want you to be shocked since this makes a lot of shreaded chicken)

The BBQ chicken after it was shreaded up and stirred into the bbq sauce

Recipe buffalo chicken

  • 5 Chicken breast
  • 1 12 oz jar of Frank’s red hot
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Place chicken in crock pot
  2. Pour 3/4 bottle red hot sauce over chicken
  3. Put ranch mix on top
  4. Turn crock pot on high 4 hours
  5. Turn crock pot off
  6. Open and place remaining hot sauce on top
  7. Place butter on top
  8. Shred chicken
  9. Enjoy

Keep refrigerated for 3 days or freeze

***this makes a lot of chicken so may want to freeze part and use part***

Recipe bbq chicken

  • Onion flakes

Directions

  1. Place chicken in crock pot
  2. Mix up ingredients
  3. Pour over chicken
  4. Cook on high for 3 hours
  5. Turn crock pot off
  6. Open crock pot
  7. Shread chicken
  8. Enjoy

Keep refrigerated for 3 days or freeze

***this makes a lot of chicken so may want to freeze part and use part***

Directions for Taquitos

  1. Take the chicken out of fridge if frozen you will want to thaw (made both types so you would need 16 flour tortillas 2 spoons and 2 pans)
  2. Take medium flour tortillas and warm slightly in microwave so they can be worked with without tearing.
  3. Place 2 spoonfuls of chicken mixture on one edge of tortilla top with cheese, roll up tight
  4. Place in 9×13 baking dish
  5. Repeat 8 times
  6. Top taquitos with cheese
  7. Bake in 350 degree oven until tortillas are light brown cheese is bubbly and middle are warm
  8. Serve hot with

*Buffalo chicken- shredded lettuce and ranch dressing

*Bbq chicken-coleslaw

We also served sour cream and chips and salsa

It was a big hit and everyone said make them again… these would be perfect for a potluck or a party.
