When I opened up my cricut on Christmas Morning to say I was excited is a huge understatement!!!
I mean me and cricut go way back to the very beginning
I had(stillhave in my craft studio) the original sizzix a manual die cutter( anyone remember those 🙋♀️?)
When they announced Cricut was coming out with a state of the art electronic die cutting machine, I knew I needed it… a crafting game changer!!!
I refer to it as the baby bug, you would buy cartridges that had images loaded on them
The original cricut had a limitation on size it was small, but for my crafting nerdist was perfect!!!
Then they released the cricut expression and my mind was blown at all of the possibilities with sizes and new cartridges released constantly(became a very expensive habit really quick🤣)
I then had the opportunity of a crafters lifetime I became part of the Cricut Army
Cricut flew me to Chicago for a weekend training session… it was my first time flying and traveling solo, and it was so much fun I met so many amazing crafters
I worked as a demonstrator for cricut products at Michael’s Arts and Crafts I had so much fun and gained a couple more machines and a gypsy for more design and play on the go(like a tablet for the cricut)
After the cricut army tour of duty was finished I slipped away from cricut for awhile(almost ashamed to say this but I learned a lot about crafting and electronic die cutting… I expanded my crafting into.the world of vinyl😮)
I began crafting with the silhouette cameo and I loved it for the ease of connecting to my laptop with a design space I can use anywhere I wasnt connected or limited to a cartridge. I thought it was more cost effective for me.
The entire time I was with silhouette I kept thinking about cricut… I wonder how they are to work with now, wonder if I could go back?
I would dream of having my cricut back(I still have all of my original cricuts you know what I mean, i wanted to go back to cricut the new cricut😍🤩😍
Christmas my crafting dreams came true
I received the most gorgeous pink cricut explore air and a bunch of goodies to go with it🙌
Oh yea and I didnt mention I also got the mini heat press 😍
I couldn’t hardly wait to open it all up and get creating
Neither could Fresno😻
He is my crafting buddy he loves to sit and watch my machines do all the fun work😄

Huge improvement on the original machines I love it!!!
Feel like I have come full circle and I am home again😊🥰🙌
My first project is a birthday party celebration, card and floral bouquet
