Nachos need to say more…. I mean this girl loves nachos, homemade or appetizers at our favorite local restaraunts or a main dish at the local mexican restaraunts.

One day while enjoying a cookout with hot dogs 🌭 I got the idea of creating these nachos, which I like to call country nachos

These woukd make a great snack at your party, football game tailgate, or part of your cookouts, or as a main dish at your weeknight dinner

Here is what you will need

Ingredients

  • Your favorite brand of potato chips, a ruffle chip works best(thicker the chip the better)
  • Hot dog sauce, armour hot dog sauce in a can works great… but you can use your favorite brand or homemade sauce
  • Shredded cheese cheddar
  • Coleslaw
  • Garnish
    • Mustard
    • Ketchup
    • Onions

Directions

  • Spread potato chips on a tray(cookie sheet or foil lined pan
  • Warm hot dog sauce up if getting from fridge if room temp it doesn’t need warmed
  • Spread hot dog sauce evenly over chips
  • Sprinkle cheese over top of hot dog sauce
  • Place into a 350 degree oven for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly
  • Remove pan of nachos
  • Let cool 5 minutes
  • Spoon coleslaw evenly over top of the warm nachos
  • Garnish as you wish
