Nachos need to say more…. I mean this girl loves nachos, homemade or appetizers at our favorite local restaraunts or a main dish at the local mexican restaraunts.
One day while enjoying a cookout with hot dogs 🌭 I got the idea of creating these nachos, which I like to call country nachos
These woukd make a great snack at your party, football game tailgate, or part of your cookouts, or as a main dish at your weeknight dinner
Here is what you will need
Ingredients
- Your favorite brand of potato chips, a ruffle chip works best(thicker the chip the better)
- Hot dog sauce, armour hot dog sauce in a can works great… but you can use your favorite brand or homemade sauce
- Shredded cheese cheddar
- Coleslaw
- Garnish
- Mustard
- Ketchup
- Onions
Directions
- Spread potato chips on a tray(cookie sheet or foil lined pan
- Warm hot dog sauce up if getting from fridge if room temp it doesn’t need warmed
- Spread hot dog sauce evenly over chips
- Sprinkle cheese over top of hot dog sauce
- Place into a 350 degree oven for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly
- Remove pan of nachos
- Let cool 5 minutes
- Spoon coleslaw evenly over top of the warm nachos
- Garnish as you wish
- Enjoy
