So last week we saw different examples of joyless living and how to rediscover our joy in everyday life

This week we are turning sorrow to joy

The week starts out with a verse

for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

I= God

Turn= change

Mourning= sorrow

comfort them= gift

God turns sorrow to joy

This is so great to start this week, I am much more excited this week than I was last week just by this

God’s promise is that we do not need to ever linger or stay in joyless living

when our life is flat and gray God invites to to exchange it for the beauty of color and joy!!!

Everyone Loves a good before and after, we like to be able to see that transformation, same is for joyful living check out these verses

  • Job 16:16
  • Job 17:7
  • Proverbs 15:13
  • Psalm 126:6
  • Isaiah 52:9

And we all know that if anyone had a good reason to live a joyless life it would be Job so reading these verses were very intriguing to me

Look at Jeremiah 31:13

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

Rejoice, Dance, Turn, mourning, joy, comfort, rejoice, sorrow

What do these words mean to you, read the verse and then think about these words what does it mean in the verse?

Joy bestows on us a beauty that radiates from within, have you ever heard beautiful inside and out, some are only pretty outside and that is not the ultimate goal to have physical beauty but to be beautiful on the inside it will automatically naturally radiate to outward beauty with no need for makeup or surgery(we live in a very plastic society, I am talking about plastic surgery that I am not a huge fan of unless medically necessary not just for looks for the sake of looks).

in Isaiah 51:37 he compares joy to the garden of eden and the Beauty that it creates is awesome!

Saved individuals always have joy it just comes along with being saved being a christian but it is very easy for that joy to get lost or pushed down with the negativity we endure in our everyday lives, i mean especially now you cant watch the News (local or national, I dont care what channel either), you cant get on your social media and see anything positive, I have often thought about taking a break from social media and if it were not for my small business(Ruby Ribbon and Park Lane) I would not even have a facebook.

This Bible study is so refreshing and I am finding joy everywhere I look, just by looking at things slightly differently.

Remember joy comes in the morning
