It is starting to feel like fall, time to start thinking about soup. Don’t you just love soup weather? It is my favorite!!!
I love more and more souls as I get older, I mean when I was little I would have never tried tomato soup not to mention French onion. I remember the first time I tried it at a local restaraunt I was hooked, I never ate the onions but loved the cheesy top and the broth.
As I was searching for new recipes today I ran across a dish that reminded me of French onion soup so I made some adjustments and here we are

What you will need
Ingredients:
- 12 oz package of egg noodles cooked
- 1 lb ground beef cooked
- 2 cans French onion soup
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 12 oz container of your favorite French onion dip(I used helluva good dip)
- French fried onions
- Provolone deli slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Splash worshteshire sauce

Directions:
- Preheat oven 350⁰
- In a medium saucepan add water and generously salt bring to a boil
- Boil noodles until tender
- In a medium skillet saute garlic and onion until caramelized
- Remove from skillet and set aside
- In same skillet brown meat
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add garlic and onions and a splash of worshteshire sauce
- Add 2 cans of soup stir
- Simmer while noodles are cooking(10 minutes)
- Remove from heat
- When noodles are done drain
- Add the French onion dip to the meat mixture stir until incorporated
- Add the meat mixture to the noodles, stir
- Pour noodles into a greased 9×13 pan
- Place provolone cheese on top of tge casserole
- Sprinkle French fried onions on top
- Place in a 350⁰ oven bake 20 minutes
- Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes
- Serve with bread
