Big Mac and cheese casserole

So who loves Big Macs at McDonald’s I mean I sure do but they are so big I loved when McDonald’s came out with Jr Mac that is much more manageable for me.

I also love anything mac and cheese too so it makes so much sense that I combined my two loves here into this easy weeknight family meal a Big Mac N Cheese casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 box macaroni and cheese prepared how you normally do(use your favorite brand and type… I used Kraft blue box deluxe)

  • 1 pound of ground beef

  • 2 tsp hamburger seasoning (salt and pepper to taste)

  • 1 cup of diced pickles

  • 1 medium onion diced

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

  • green onions for garnish

  • 1/2 cup of dill pickle slices for garnish

  • lettuce shredded for garnish

  • 1 cup of thousand island dressing

Directions

  • cook macaroni and cheese according to package directions
  • brown ground beef, season to your liking, drain any excess liquid
  • add onions and pickles to the ground beef
  • add the ground beef to the macaroni and cheese stir to incorporate all ingredients
  • stir in 1 tablespoon of thousand island dressing
  • put into a prepared 9X13 pan
  • top with shredded cheddar cheese
  • bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes
  • top serving with shredded lettuce and drizzle with thousand island dressing add a pickle or two
  • enjoy
  • Serve with Garlic bread

Fun fact, I loved it and my mom loved it so I decided to pack up a plate and take it to my uncle, aunt, cousin and other uncle(joy of living on a family farm… family is your taste testers) They LOVED it!!!!
