I LOVE Philly Cheese-steaks and have never worked with Phyllo dough but I was very interested and wanted to play one night last week.
My original plan was to wrap up the mixture and deep fry but quickly after I opened phyllo dough I knew that was not going to happen(that is the fun part of experimenting in the kitchen it doesn’t always go to plan)
So here is what I did instead

- remove from oven and allow to sit for 5 minutes prior to slicing
- slice into triangles or squares and serve with mustard, mayo or your favorite topping
Notes
- Phyllo dough is very fragile and will dry out very quickly so only open when you are ready to use and lay a damp towel over the phyllo dough to keep fresh and moist.
- Be careful when handling phyllo dough as it tears easily
Like my fancy plates? LOL Yes that is a joke but seriously this is real life and I make use of paper plates a lot especially when it is just me and mom eating we aren’t fancy people:)
