Now I have never been a fan of spaghetti like even when I was little.

It just makes such a mess(well I do anyway, I never mastered spaghetti twirling)

I saw some recipes for baked spaghetti and I thought hmmmm may want to give this a try

So I took a few recipes and added some ingredients of my own and came up with this recipe and man oh man it is oh so good!

Oh So good Baked spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cooked spaghetti noodles

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 5 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 clove garlic minced

  • 1 8 Oz cream cheese softened

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy… your choice)

  • 1 large jar of marinara sauce

  • 2 cups of mozzerella cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease a 9X13 casserole dish
  • Cook spaghetti noodles until almost tender
  • Whisk eggs with Parmesan cheese and melted butter
  • Let noodles cool off
  • Toss egg and cheese mixture with cooked noodles (don’t put egg mixture into piping hot noodles or you will have scrambled eggs)
  • Place noodles into casserole dish
  • Combine; Italian seasoning, garlic, ricotta cheese, cream cheese
  • Combine cooked meat and jar of marinara
  • Spread cream cheese/ricotta/ seasoning mixture over noodles
  • Spread sauce over the cheese
  • Top with mozzarella
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes
  • Serve with garden salad, cole slaw, garlic bread
  • Enjoy
